The potiche vase presents an essential shape and it is decorated with a delicate ornament based on neutral tones of white, configured as a precious and refined lace. Obtained from a skilful combination of the white cerium color on a white stone background, the basic decorative texture is characterized by the typical peacock feather motif deriving from the Deruta tradition, which covers almost the entire surface of the object. This decorative motif is interrupted and replaced by another ornament obtained with the same neutral tones of white, which embellishes the vase near the shoulder and in the lid, re-proposing the characteristic decorative theme of the classic Renaissance foliage.
